A Visit from the Grandparents

Mark's 36th birthday was a few weeks ago and his parents came down for a visit.  It was pretty good weather and we enjoyed our time with them.  As usual, they were amazed at how the boys have changed, especially Titus now that he's starting to talk and form sentences.  Below are some pictures of our sweet time together.

Marcus found his old potty and introduced it to Titus.

While intrigued and interested in the potty, I'm not quite sure this is what it's supposed to be used for.

My cup overflows.

Our BIG boys!

Titus LOVES being in Daddy's "tuck."

Onesie pajamas and bunny slippers.  Does it get any cuter?

Marcus used his own earned money to buy this parachute man at the toy store.

I found this Hungry Hungry Hippos game for $5 and the boys LOVE it.

Sweet little Blue Jays fan.

Watching a UNCA Baseball game with Daddy is the BEST!

Marcus caught, Titus hit, and Daddy pitched.

Grandma went with us to the Mountain Play Lodge.

Climbing playground "trees" is lots of fun.

Supper at Yoshida's in honor of Daddy's birthday.

When the Canadians are in town, we dress appropriately. :)

Throwing with his dad.

And the love obsession with baseball continues.

Titus was throwing with Grandpa.  Mark pitched, and Marcus hit.

He.  Is.  Ready.

He's working at it on his own level.

This picture cracks me up.  Can you guess who it is?

Three generations of Schuurman men.

Some things never change.  This man LOVES his Vitamin D.

Sharing hugs and tickles with Grandma.

These boys didn't like the fact that their grandparents were leaving after this picture, but they sure enjoyed the time we spent with them while they were here.

Titus could actually throw it good enough for Marcus to hit it!

School time!  Titus working on colors - Marcus working on geography.  He knows around 20 states and their locations so far!

While driving one day last week, I heard Marcus reading this book ALL BY HIMSELF in the back seat.  I parked and videoed what was going on.  He hadn't memorized it because it was new to us.  He was actually putting his skills to use and reading a book on his own.  I was SO EXCITED! And he as super proud of himself.

We sure do love this little cutie pie.

Granddad Bolen got Marcus a new sling shot and it's been a big hit around here.

Riding bikes at the park.

This big boy gets stronger every day.
