A Decent Snow & BIG news

This winter, it seems like most areas around us have gotten plenty of snow and we've just been left out.  They even called for a FOOT of snow once and we didn't get one single flake.  It was such a disappointment!  But this past Wednesday, we got a solid inch (which may not seem like a lot to you, but it was enough to get Marcus excited) and it was gone by the evening.  Either way, Marcus got to bundle up and go out in it for a few minutes and was super excited to tell Grandpa later that evening that we got some.  He now asks every time if Grandpa has snow since it's a constant thing up there this winter.
In other HUGE news, Marcus has been wearing BIG BOY UNDERWEAR since Tuesday.  We were home most of the day Tuesday so we trained diligently.  He didn't have an accident until that evening, on the way home from Kids Kitchen.  So Wednesday was the big day.  I told him that if he stayed dry all day and used the potty while we were out, I'd let him pick out his very own underwear.  Sure enough, we went LOTS  of places, but at every stop, he went to the bathroom like a champ.  So while at Target, after pottying, we went straight to the underwear section and let him take his sweet little time.  He chose, "cowboy" underwear, aka- Toy Story and has been wearing one of them ever since.  Before today, he only had two accidents.  We even drove to Winston Salem yesterday (2.5 hour drive - one way) and he stayed dry as well!  Today was sort of a set-back day, but looking back at any changes we've made in his life or schedule, Sundays have always been "off" days for him.  Not to mention he got less sleep last night due to Daylight Saving.  Nonetheless, we're super excited that we're rounding the corner of potty training (FINALLY!) and are thankful that we can get a few months off before stocking up for baby #2.
Finally, in Winston yesterday, Marcus and I had a BIG time.  We met up with my sister at the Haynes Mall and took her maternity shopping.  She's 15, almost 16 weeks along carrying twins and hardly has a pooch.  She's just adorable, as always.  After getting her stocked up with some new clothes (and I got an outfit, too! - see today's pic) we ate lunch, got cookies, saw a train that runs through the mall, and then she took Marcus for a ride on the hobby horses.  He flat loved spending time and giggling with his "Aunt Wiv" and it was good for me to see her as well.  When he saw the horses, he picked out a black one right away.  I said, "do you want Mommy or Aunt Liv to go with you?" and without hesitation he said, "Aunt Wiv!"  I love the relationship they have and look forward to a similar one with TJ and Olivia's two babies. :)
Looking at the snow when he first woke up

Bundled up, blue eyes blazing

It wasn't that much & didn't stick to our driveway, but it was ENOUGH!

And he sure loved it.

26 Weeks!
-Almost over the sinus infection - still snotty
-Slept WELL this week (yes!)
-I feel like I'm carrying this baby much lower than Marcus
-We're thankful not to have two in diapers at the same time!
