Living the American Dream

Have you ever heard that saying?  When people say they are, "living the American dream," I often think, "but what does that mean?"  For some, it includes great wealth.  For others, it's having a large family, while some yet just think of it as traveling all over the world.  For Mark and I, we just think of it as being blessed.  We are madly in love with each other and our two boys.  Mark enjoys his job and there's plenty of dough that comes with it (pun TOTALLY intended *wink, wink*) and I couldn't imagine working anywhere but at home.  Although both bring their daily challenges, we're thankful that the Lord has provided for us.  Mark's jaw is finally starting to loosen up, his wrist is still not good, but the swelling has gone down some, and we are settling into life with two boys instead of just one.  James MacDonald coined the term, "Gratitude is the attitude that determines our altitude."  Think about that.  An attitude of thankfulness molds and shapes our view of life.  Do we have troubles or issues?  Sure.  Who doesn't?  But most importantly, we are children of the most high God.  Everything after that is just considered to be details. :)

PS - Titus gets to meet his Canadian grandparents this week!  We (and especially Marcus) are SO EXCITED to see them!  Pictures will follow for sure.

Big brother asks to hold Titus DAILY

He's starting to fill out some!

Matching John Deere outfits.

Sweet boys!

Titus' face cracks me up here.  He's like, "what's he doing, mom?"

Marcus even gets to help feed Titus on occasion.
